What should you expect?

Whenever you come, you should expect a very friendly community centered around the Word of God, a community of people who will seek to welcome you and get to know you.

Sunday Mornings

Please come around 10:45AM to give us a chance to meet you. Also, after the service our people mingle around for 30 minutes and then go to lunch together. We hope you give us an opportunity to know you. Our weekly attendance runs about 100-125. People come dressed business-casual, although you will find some dressed in suits and others in jeans.

Scripture Reading and Prayer. Our corporate gathering gives a high emphasis on the regular reading of Scripture and on bringing our hearts before God in several times of prayer.

Music. We believe that singing in church is about the church singing. Therefore, we prefer congregational singing over performed music. Thus most of our music invites the entire community to participate in singing. We sing songs that are rich in Biblical content, and which have been composed by contemporary and by long past writers.

Preaching. Our pastor preaches series of expositional sermons that cover longer sections of the Bible. The weekly sermons usually last about 40-45 minutes.

Children. If you have children, we would love to care for them. Children 0-24 months are welcomed in our nursery. Children 2 to 5 years old are welcome to join our "Preschoolers, the Body and Jesus" ministry, which runs parallel to our corporate service. Children 5 and up are encouraged to stay in the service. We provide quiet packs for them. Be sure to ask one of the ushers for a quiet pack. From 9:30 to 10:30 our children are spending time in different age-based classes (See our Children's Ministry page). 

Wednesday nights

This is our church family-room experience. After we finish dinner, we continue in the fellowship hall with singing a few songs, then pastor Samuel leads in a discussion-based study of Scripture, and then we conclude with a time of prayer in the large group.

After dinner our children and youth have their discipleship time. 

Our nursery is open from 5:00PM to 8:00PM.
