Missions and Outreach
Park Hills Baptist Church takes seriously the last command Jesus gave in Matthew 28:18-20 “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”
We seek to carry out this command locally and internationally in the following ways:
- We equip our members to spread the Gospel and to give of their resources and talents for the sake of being engaged in missions and outreach.
- Our members engage in local outreach initiatives and international short-term mission trips with the purpose of leading people to a personal relationship to Christ, and to lead them towards Christ-like maturity.
- We provide financial support to agencies and partners who are committed to spread the Gospel.
- We seek to respond to the needs of our community by providing material resources through mercy ministries and thus be a display of the true light, hope, and truth, which is Jesus Christ.
